October 2008 - I was due to photograph a wedding in Dalmunzie and I needed to visit the place, scouting for locations. On that morning of Autumn 2008, I took the high road through the upper part of the estate and as I emerged from a forest, Dalmunzie stood there, majestic with Gleann Taitneach in the background an the private golf course in the foreground.
The weather was overcast, but there were occasional gaps in the cloud cover so I decided to find the best spot, sit and wait for the light. I love the way the light plays with the elements of the landscape, giving so much to discover.
