September 2018 - The area of Balgowan, in the Highland, is simply stunning, especially with the right light. An overcast day and the rain has brought out a double rainbow over Balgowan, looking North from the road that leads back to Dalwhinnie. The sun is playing with the scene, plunging most of the foreground into deep shadows while highlighting the mountains in the background in a most magical way.
