Storm Into The Night
"In the late evening, a layer of clouds
Rolls over heather moor and silently enshrouds
The hills and the land, promising an early night.
And a storm approaches, easy told by the sight,
As light dims down deeply, removing all the hues,
And dampness fills the air, amongst other cues.
Suddenly, through the clouds the sun tears its way
Bringing a relief of light and a warm colour spray,
A goodnight kiss, full of drama and delight,
As the landscape springs to life and storms into the night."
