Ski Slopes at Glenshee Ski Resort, Glenshee, Perthshire, Scotland
February 2015 - Snow has fallen nice and thick and not a cat in sight??? In fact, there were many cars and two buses behind me and a large number of people getting ready to leave or start skying. Not all the car park was clear and this was taken near the main building, on the other side of the road.
It was the first time in a long time that Glenshee had received so much snow. In fact business had been quiet over the years, with the occasional few weeks of ski season. It was a happy day for the ski resort and people seemed to be buoyant and eager.
I love the way the chair lift and the slope are parallel to each other, making it nice and simple for the skiers. It represents the life-cycle of the skiing day and a circle of a specific lifestyle.
The snow has been freshly prepared and is ready for the crowds coming. I wonder what the Club Hut does... I am not a skier. I was brought up in hot climates and snow was never there.
