EB0006 - St Vigeans Church, North Face, Angus, Scotland

July 2009 - St Vigeans Church has been build in the local red sandstone and along with its prominent situation on top of a steep mount, it looks quite impressive. It is still used today as a Scottish medieval parish kirk but Church of Scotland, dating back to the 12th century and has been extensively restored, loosing some of its features.

It stands next to the Pictish Stones museum.
